The story begins with Nick, an experienced adventurer whose group is led by his mentor and father figure Argus. Upon completion of his latest job, Nick discovers that some of the money has gone missing and realizes that one of the group members is to blame. To his surprise, Argus pardons the member and instead expels Nick after being accused of also embezzling funds. One night, after several weeks on a downward spiral, Nick ends up in a local tavern where fate leads him to meet three other adventurers. After a night of drinking, the four bond over their own betrayals and their shattered ability to trust anyone. That's when Nick comes up with the idea of the four of them forming a group. So the story begins with a group of adventurers united in their belief that humans are bastards and wish to make some honest coin....

The show is set in a bar called Cheers in Boston, Massachusetts, where a group of locals gather to drink, relax and socialize. Its widely watched series finale was broadcast on May 20, 1993, and the show's 275 episodes were successfully distributed worldwide. Nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series for all 11 seasons, it won 28 Emmy Awards out of a record 117 nominations. The character Frasier Crane was featured in his eponymous show, which aired until 2004 and included guest appearances by practically all the major and minor characters from Cheers.
