Koudo Ikusei High School is a prestigious school where 100% of students go on to university or get a job. Students are free to wear any hairstyle and carry any kind of personal adornment they like. Koukdo Ikusei looks like paradise, but the truth is that only the top students receive special treatment. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is a Class D student, which is where the school dumps inferior students to ridicule them. For some reason, Kiyotaka was negligent in his entrance exam and was placed in that class. After meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyou Kushida, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka's situation begins to change.
