Rifujin na Magonote‘s original “Mushoku Tensei” light novel series has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation, although this is not considered a sales statistic.
Kadokawa published the first volume of the novel, with illustrations by Shirotaka, in April 2014, while the 25th volume was published in September 2021. It is worth noting that the webnovel concluded the story after 24 volumes in April 2015. The manga adaptation, made by Fujikawa, began publication in Kadokawa ‘s Comic Flapper magazine in October 2014, while volume 16 was published in November 2021.

Os romances alcançaram o 8º lugar na lista tankōbon de 2019 do Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Por outro lado, se as vendas dos romances e do mangá forem combinadas, em outubro de 2018, Mushoku Tensei havia vendido mais de 2,2 milhões de cópias apenas no Japão. O primeiro cour do anime estreou nas redes Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto e BS11 em 10 de janeiro.
Synopsis:
“The story follows a 34-year-old man who dies after trying to save another person from being hit by a car. He then realizes that he has been reincarnated into a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat and that his entire life has been reset as he had to start over as a baby. With all the knowledge from his previous life and a great knack for magic, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventures. Oh, and he’s still a pervert.”
