The Daily Show is an American news program that mainly satirizes American politics. The show began in 1996 and was originally presented by Craig Kilborn. Jon Stewart, who replaced Kilborn in 1999, presented the show until August 2015. In September of the same year the show was taken over by Trevor Noah.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) Detectives who are part of the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit investigate crimes of a sexual nature, such as rape, in which the victim survives and assists the authorities in the investigation.
Doctor Who (2005) The Doctor seems human. He’s handsome, witty and could be mistaken for another man in the street. But he is a Time Lord: a 900-year-old alien with two hearts, a member of a gifted civilization that has mastered time travel. The Doctor saves planets for a living – more of a hobby, really, and he’s very, very good at it. He saved us from alien threats long ago – but who is he?
Castle (2009) Meet Richard Castle: he’s a successful murder mystery writer who has just killed off his main character. However, it seems that one of his fans liked his books a little too much when a copycat killer starts killing people around him, as described in Castle’s books. After being questioned by the police, Richard joins forces with Detective Kate Beckett to solve the case. The two become partners and start working together to solve other murders in New York, along with other detectives Tony Esposito, Kevin Ryan and Captain Roy Montgomery.
