After a 10-year quest alongside the hero Himmel and his group, the powerful mage Frieren defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the kingdom. As an elf, Frieren has more than a thousand years of life ahead of her. She promises to return to her friends and sets off on a solitary journey. 50 years pass when Frieren finally returns to visit Himmel and the others. Although she hasn’t aged at all, her friends have little time left to live. It is then that Frieren witnesses Himmel’s death, which leads her to regret not having spent more time with him.
