Starlight is a music and dance troupe that is loved all over the world. Karen and Hikari promised each other when they were children that one day they would be on that stage together. The story begins with Yato, a minor god whose dream is to have millions of followers. Unfortunately, his dream is far from coming true, as he doesn't even have a shrine dedicated to his name and finds himself without any Divine Instrument, after his last one resigned after three months of partnership. In this setting, Yato meets Hiyori, a girl who is secretly a martial arts fan. On his first date with her, Yato is saved when Hiyori stops him from being hit by a bus, but she is hit instead. From that moment on, Hiyori finds herself between two worlds. What will happen?
