Shiki
Sotoba is a small isolated village with approximately 1300 inhabitants. The villagers there lived in peace with their own cultures until one day mysterious cases begin to occur frequently, creating piles of corpses with no explanation as to how they passed away. Shiki means a mixture of corpse and demon, and within the story refers to a type of undead.
