John Smith appears to be an ordinary teenager, but he is actually an alien from the planet Lorien among nine who are living as humans on Earth. Your goal is to hide from the Mogadorians, enemies who you have to eliminate in the correct sequence. To do this, he constantly changes his identity and city with the help of his guardian, Henri. With numbers One, Two and Three murdered, John is the next to be chased, but he finds a reason to stop running.
The year is 5012. A sudden invasion of aliens and their Mechanical Living Beings almost wipes out humanity entirely. The few survivors take refuge on the moon, organizing a counterattack to retake the planet, but come to a standstill due to the infinite multiplication capacity of the Mechanical Living Creatures. To break the deadlock, humanity creates YoRHa, a unit of android soldiers. 2B, an android, is sent to Earth to meet 9S and analyze the mysterious phenomena they find there.
The story follows Ataru, a young man who is chosen to take part in a duel against the alien race that is invading Earth and save the planet.
Contrary to expectations, Ataru ends up winning and receives the right to marry Lum, the daughter of the leader of the invaders. Lum then moves in with Ataru, who now has to deal with this problem while trying to maintain her relationship with Shinobu Miyake.

Bulma is a girl in search of the mystical dragon spheres which, when gathered, grant any wish. In her search, she bumps into the owner of one of these balls, a strange boy called Goku. The two then set off together, Bulma in search of the dragon spheres and Goku on a quest to become stronger.
