“Mushoku Tensei without Ecchi”

The first episode of‘The faraway paladin‘ was well commented on twitter and on forums like MAL, the subject was the same in all forums: “A copy of Mushoku Tensei”.

Prints from various social networks

The author himself mentioned on Twitter that he was influenced by Mushoku Tensei:

Kanata Yanagino is the author of‘The faraway paladin‘, in July of that year, on official Twitter a user called his work“a Mushoku Tensei without Ecchi“, in response, Yanagino said that both his story and his protagonist were really influenced by Mushoku Tensei. Below you can check Yanagino ‘s response translated into Portuguese:

At the time, “Mushoku” was the highest rated novel on the web. When I read it, I thought, “Mushoku is so much fun” and “I wish I could write a play like this.” And I wrote a play afterwards, but for some reason it didn’t end up being ecchi. It’s the mystery of creation!😂(kanata Yanagino)

I’m glad my English isn’t all messed up. Yes, he is. Nothing to hide, my work and my main character are strongly influenced by Mushoku.(kanata Yanagino)

Anime started on a low note:

I like to read the forum discussions, at the premiere of the episode, the anime was on a low note, the discussion was blocked because of a bullshit that had, again the users of the MAL mentioned that the anime got a low rating for being “Mushoku Tensei only 5x worse“, others said they were disappointed to see that it was a isekai, since the synopsis implied that it was a common fantasy work, they even compared the anime’s note to that of ‘Digimon ghost game‘, in the end, the discussion was blocked because of the bullshit between users.
