Two anime of the highest quality share the stage in anticipation of the otakus
The year 2022 is proving to be one of the best years in history to be an otaku. Several events have contributed to an immense hype among anime lovers.

Among these events are the announcements of new seasons of Classroom of The Elite and the release of the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0. In addition, the Crunchyroll and Funimation catalogs have been merged, further adding to the fans’ excitement.
Why is there so much hype about these works?
Although the level of animation is similar, the story of the two works bears little resemblance. If on the one hand we have a work that delighted fans and then never heard from again, Classroom of The Elite, on the other we have a work that has been winning over new fans day after day and has been working up its hype little by little.
Is Classroom of The Elite really going to have a second season?
It was thought that Classroom of The Elite would never have a second season, since the adaptation of the light novel for the first season left a lot to be desired and changed many important elements of the story. The great fear is that as the anime adaptation progresses, these changes could greatly affect the quality of the work.
The fans’ displeasure with the adaptation, and even the creator’s own dissatisfaction, made a sequel seem impossible, until the announcement came, igniting fans all over the world. I’m particularly excited since Ayanokoji is one of the most intriguing protagonists in anime history, in my humble opinion.
Jujutsu Kaisen will have a movie released in Brazil and soon a second season
Jujutsu Kaisen, on the other hand, caught fans’ attention for the immense quality of both the story and the animations, which have reached a level that should become a standard to strive for, just like Kimetsu no Yaiba.
I would venture to say that Jujutsu Kaisen is the state of the art when it comes to shounen anime. To back up this claim , you only have to look at the Anime Awards nominations, where Jujutsu Kaisen appears in the nomination for best anime, two nominations for best fights, as well as a few other nominations. Having two fights from the same anime in the nominations is quite unusual, but nothing is impossible for Toudou Aoi, Itadori Yuiji and Kugisaki Nobara.
Another thing that Jujutsu Kaisen did very well was to use the female characters in the story in an active way, rather than as comic relief, the kind of shit that many anime do. Nobara and Maki are extremely powerful and intelligent, and play important roles in the plot.
With all this quality, the simple announcement that the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 would be coming to Brazil was enough to get fans excited. It was also announced that the second season of the anime will arrive in 2023.
Even if it arrives in 2023, the hype will last throughout 2022 and you can be sure that I’ll be following every detail and sharing it here at Pousada Nerd.
Are you excited about these two launches? I hope so, because I can’t wait!
